Taskforces

Introduction

The HKSDF has launched and advanced a number of Taskforce based initiatives since inception. Taskforces are a delegate body of the HKSDF Executive Committee and may be comprised of any members of the HKSDF.

A Taskforce will elect from its own members its leader. Taskforce leaders must be members of the HKSDF and serve without compensation. No Taskforce meeting will have been validly held unless a member of the Executive Committee is present. Taskforce meetings are held as and when the Taskforce leader (in consultation with his/her Taskforce members) believes it appropriate.

Generally Taskforce members will attend Taskforce meetings although other the HKSDF members may attend if they wish. Outcomes of any Taskforce are available to all members and where a Taskforce has prepared reports, the Executive Committee must approve them (where possible in consultation with all the HKSDF members) before submission to any other organization, institution or agency.

Taskforce Meetings

Meetings are generally called as and when the Taskforce has a project to hand. Minutes of meetings will be kept.

The HKSDF encourages members to approach the HKSDF Executive Committee with suggestions for new topics.
